About the project
Riverview House
The construction team worked meticulously to preserve the home’s original character while upgrading it to meet modern living standards. Early in the process, flooding challenges were addressed by elevating the floor levels and installing polished concrete floors for durability and long-term resilience. The build incorporated high-quality materials and precise detailing, ensuring a robust structure that will stand the test of time.
A standout aspect of the project is the refined showcase through Tasmanian Oak joinery, seen in the custom cabinetry, ceilings, and wall panelling. The new entryway, featuring a striking timber and brass floating staircase, highlights the home’s transformation and craftsmanship. Circular skylights bring natural light deep into the interior, while repurposed timber from the original structure reinforces the project’s sustainable focus. The completed home perfectly balances heritage preservation with modern construction techniques, resulting in a timeless, functional space built for the family’s evolving lifestyle.
