Tom Hicks

Founder & Director

Tom Hicks has over 30 years of experience in high-end residential construction, driven by a lifelong commitment to craftsmanship and architectural excellence. Before founding Beach Houses Australia in 2007, Tom spent more than a decade with hicks & Paine Builders, a company known for its expertise in Australian hardwood construction in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore. His extensive background in bespoke, architect-designed homes has developed his deep understanding of detail, structure and finish – qualities that define every Beach Houses project today.

Mike Hilton

Director

Mike Hilton brings a wealth of expertise in complex, high-value construction and project management, honed over more than two decades in the building industry. His career spans both premium residential and commercial developments, including leadership roles in Defence waterfront construction with top-tier firms. Having first collaborated with Tom on a landmark heritage restoration in 2008, Mike rejoined Beach Houses Australia in 2015 as Director, where his strategic approach, technical precision and passion for architectural excellence continue to elevate the standard of every project.
